The digital age has rapidly changed ministry in America. With access to the world at our fingertips, the EFCA has an opportunity to equip under-resourced ministry leaders with practical tools to serve local churches.

In January 2019, a survey of district and pastoral leadership revealed that the curation and cataloging of ministry resources from trusted district and national partners was a necessity. Why? Because 44% of churches in the U.S. have one or fewer full-time staff members2 and limited administrative and volunteer support. It is evident that excellent, practical resources can alleviate burdens and increase the health and effectiveness of churches and church leaders.

That is why the EFCA has invested in a digital resource library where ministry leaders can access personnel policies, small group materials, missions resources and more. We call it EFCA Helps.

Not only do national and district ministries contribute to EFCA helps, pastoral and lay leadership from churches across the movement can leverage the strength of some of the EFCA’s most well established congregations.

“Our church has developed an abundance of resources and tools over the years. We love to share them with the larger church. As God has blessed us, we delight in blessing other churches.” — Quintin Stieff, Lead Pastor at Valley Church, West Des Moines, IA

In order to make EFCA Helps a trusted resource,

it is crucial that we regularly stock the platform with new resources.

By investing $25,000 annually, you provide the staff support needed to curate submitted materials and provide real help to under-resourced, gospel-centered churches.
