Hi friends! My name is Sami Miller, and I am so excited to be returning to serve with Apex this summer in Mexico City! Last summer I had an incredible experience partnering with the Reach Global team in Mexico City, and God has opened the door for me to return as a student leader this summer! This means that I will be serving in more of a leadership position, helping the other Apex students on my team with team dynamics, spiritual formation, and discipleship. A little about me, I am a senior at Moody Bible Institute studying Intercultural Studies, hoping to become a full time missionary after I graduate. I have had a big heart for missions since I was nine and have gone on mission trips in the past to Clarkston, GA, Chicago, LA, and last year Mexico City. I am especially interested in evangelism, 1-on-1 discipleship, hospitality ministry, and community development and care, all of which are a core part of the Mexico City team. I am excited to join in the work God is doing in Mexico City this summer, and I cannot wait to see how the Lord will transform and teach me through this opportunity.
